The Review Module is an optional feature of VSE. It allows you to periodically review and assess the access of your users and roles and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with auditor requirements and industry standards.
With the ability to set up review tasks, the Review module helps to identify and prevent potential conflicts of interest within user roles. It also includes an audit trail that tracks changes made to user roles and access levels, providing transparency and compliance. The Review module is a powerful tool for maintaining security and reducing the risk of fraud for your organization.
A Review group is often equivalent to a department in your company but can also be other compositions of users according to your requirements.

As a first step, the Review groups are created. This can be done by pressing the + sign and then manually adding groups one by one. It's also possible to click the import button, then select Review groups, and download the template.
When the groups are created, add the users that should be included in each group. This can also be done by an import of an Excel file. Click the import button, but this time select the Review group Users template.
The task is a periodic task you can set up to review the roles different Review groups users have to the M3 environment.

Create the task by clicking the + sign, then add an ID, Name, and a date when the review task should be done. In the Settings of VSE, it's also possible to select that the Review Task should set a valid-to date on the users when approved. If this is activated, you also need to set that date when creating the task.
You can connect multiple groups to the same task if that's preferred.

You can always copy, edit, or delete a task.
