This document provides a detailed guide on creating and configuring the Info Box Widget within the Dashboard Details Page.

Creating an Info Box Widget

1. Selecting the Widget

• Click on the Info Box Widget.
• Other widget templates will be hidden, and the Info Box Widget configuration fields will be displayed.

2. Fields for Configuration

• Name (mandatory): Provide a unique name for the widget.
• Data Set (mandatory): Select a data set from the Table Management list.
  • The data set list supports searching for tables.

3. Creating the Widget

• The Create button will remain disabled until both fields are filled.
• After entering the required details, click Create.
• The widget will display the count of records based on the selected data set.

4. Interactions

• View Details:
  • Opens a popup to view the data in the selected data set.
  • Features:
    • Search within the data.
    • Sorting columns.
    • Export to Excel (exports only filtered data if a search is applied).
    • Pagination to navigate through data pages.

Info Box Settings Panel

Clicking on the Info Box Widget, the right-side Info Box Settings Panel will be displayed with the following tabs:

1. Data Tab

• Title and Description:

  • The title displays the widget name.
  • The description is blank by default and can be updated by the user. The updated description will reflect in the widget.

• Data Set:

  • Displays the selected data set.
  • Users can change the data set by clicking inside the data set box, which will display a searchable popup of available data sets. The popup will show the following columns:
    • Data Set Name
    • Data Set Alias Name
    • Description
  • Users can sort the columns for better navigation.
  • A message, "Changes made in dataset will not be updated until save button is clicked," will appear below the data set box when changes are made.

• Linked From:

  • A dropdown displaying all other widgets that can be linked to the Info Box. Changes in the linked widget will automatically update the Info Box widget.

  Below widgets will be displayed in the drop down.
