The following options are available, not all options are available for all connection types. Available options will be automatically shown based on connection type choice.

These connections can be selected in duties as connections for either Collector or Publisher, depending on the module type and connection type.

• Name – name of the connection
• Description – description of the connection
• Connection type – available options are Database, HTTP and SMTP
• Database vendor – available options are PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server and DB2(iSeries)
• Host – server hostname or IP
• Port – service port
• Database – name of the database schema
• Username – username (can be left blank)
• Password – password (can be left blank)
• Additional parameters – used when connecting to a database, for instance *domain=OURDOMAIN *****when connecting with an AD user to MSSQL database
