Feature Overview

The Control Spreadsheet toggle is added to the Excel component. It is set to OFF by default for both existing and new workflows. Users have the option to enable or disable this toggle based on their needs.

How to Use the Control Spreadsheet Toggle

For Existing Workflows

  1. Navigate to the workflow where you want to enable the Control Spreadsheet toggle.
  2. In the Excel component settings, you will see the new Control Spreadsheet toggle.
  3. Toggle it ON to activate the control mechanism.
  4. If the toggle was previously enabled, you can turn it OFF if needed.

For New Workflows

  1. While configuring a new workflow, you will find the Control Spreadsheet toggle in the Excel component settings.
  2. By default, it is set to OFF. You can turn it ON during the workflow creation process.

Advantages of Enabling the Control Spreadsheet Toggle

Enabling this toggle provides an additional layer of validation for your workflow execution. If all input and output fields are mapped with columns in the Excel component, the system will check for any discrepancies in the mappings when the workflow is executed.
